What began as a love for travel soon grew into a way of life. From backpacking across continents to discovering hidden gems closer to home, every journey showed us the power of adventure, connection, and hospitality.
When the world slowed down in 2020, we turned our curiosity toward real estate and began building a portfolio that combined family, freedom, and flexibility. Along the way, we learned firsthand the challenges parents face when traveling with young kids, the need for practical setups, playful touches, and entertainment that makes vacations joyful, not stressful.
That’s when Family Fun Stays was born. More than just rentals, our homes are designed to help families, groups, and friends relax, reconnect, and create memories worth carrying for a lifetime. We believe vacations shouldn’t just be about getting away, they should be about coming together.
And as we look ahead, our vision is bigger than homes. We dream of family-friendly boutique stays and retreats where learning, leisure, and creativity go hand in hand. OUR STORY
The team behind MarketMySTR has been building online businesses since 1997. Three years ago, MarketMySTR's founder Scott Hill partnered with a software developer to help grow an all-in-one marketing platform that has turned into arguably the best all-in-one marketing platform in the world.
In early 2022, Scott and Bill Faeth met each other because their daughters were on the same soccer team. During one game in Gulf Port, MS, Bill and Scott started to learn about what each other did. Unknown to either of them, until that moment, they had a common connection in Grant Cardone. Scott and his team were powering the 10X Coaching and Mentoring program for Grant, and Bill knew Grant personally! In fact, he pulled out a picture of him and Grant standing by Grant's private plane to prove it!
Scott asked more about what Bill was doing, and it turned out Bill was using a variety of software tools to manage his STR portfolio. Coincidentally, these tools were everything that Scott’s team was providing for clients and Grant’s 10X Coaching and Mentoring program, but all in one software and marketing-focused platform.
As it turned out, Bill was no novice when it came to software. Bill was customer number 33 of Hubspot and was their very first enterprise customer. In other words, he knew his stuff. Unless our all-in-one marketing platform was legit, he wasn’t going to get involved. Once we launched, Bill introduced us to Mike Sjogren and Mike Reilly. Scott was immediately impressed with their attention to detail, operationally focused mentoring, coaching knowledge, and their relentless focus on not doing everything yourself.
Ultvare, driven by the same spirit of collaboration and innovation, quickly saw the value in this all-in-one approach, bringing a seamless experience for homeowners, travelers, and property managers. Together,
these partnerships strengthened the vision for an exceptional, streamlined experience in the vacation rental industry.

With a background in hospitality, global travel across 50+ countries, and a passion for interior design, Anna brings more than just hosting experience—she brings heart. As a mom and seasoned traveler herself, she understands what families truly need on vacation: comfort, fun, and zero stress.
Anna personally curates every Family Fun Stays home to be warm, stylish, and family-first. Each space is thoughtfully equipped with bunk beds, baby gear, board games, and small details that help guests feel seen, supported, and completely at home.
Jia
CO-OWNER
Jia is a designer, traveler, and foodie who has lived in four countries and explored more than 45 worldwide. With a passion for hospitality and detail, she creates spaces that feel both stylish and welcoming. Fluent in English and Chinese, she brings a global perspective to Family Fun Stays, always looking for ways to make guests feel cared for.
Christina
CO-OWNER
Christina works in financial services and brings the same attention to detail into hosting that she does in her career. A proud graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, she has lived abroad in Europe and Mexico, experiences that shaped her love for travel, culture, and connection.
Now based in Los Angeles, CA, Christina dreams of visiting the Greek Islands one day. Her home reflects her passions, filled with unique décor, artwork, games, and thoughtful touches that make every stay memorable.
